Dr Mario Marzola

Dr Mario Marzola has been in the field of hair restoration surgery for over 30 years and has pioneered some of the techniques that are used globally. He has also been in the field of cosmetic surgery for many years and is a member of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS).

Dr Marzola’s training in hair restoration originated in Australia and America, and he has continued to update his skills and knowledge both locally and internationally. He was the first person in the world to offer a school for international physicians to come and learn hair restoration procedures. He is regularly a faculty member at conferences in this field and is currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and on the Board of Governors of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.

Dr. Marzola was the president of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) in 1996. He is an active member on the board of governors for this association the largest association globally for Hair Restoration. He has attended and presented talks at every conference internationally since the association begun in 1993.
